The Launch Ramp at J St. Marina Park, is one of the largest 24 hour facilities in San Diego County. It is also the home of the South Bay District of the San Diego Harbor Police. There are 12 full lanes of boat launching, picnic areas, and a pump out dock. It is really easy to get to from the I-5 freeway. And, the J St Public Boat Launch Ramp offers the closest access to the fabulous south bay section of San Diego Bay's finest shallow water fishery.
